The color of the C serum 22 can vary from almost clear to a milky white. The reason for this variability is that many of the ingredients used are grown in the ground, and the color and consistency can and does vary due to the climate, soil, and geography from which these natural and organic botanicals are sourced. The rated shelf life for C serum 22 is 18 months, but it can easily retain its efficacy for up to 2 years when stored under optimal conditions (i.e., below 78º, stored away from excessive exposure to heat and/or direct sunlight).
